The platform

Built once, deployed to mixed hardware.

Every terminal ships from the same source. Identity is provisioned at first run — token, QR, or a drop‑in file — and the hardware profile arrives from Odoo. Swapping a printer is a form edit, not a rebuild.

Universal terminal

Android tablets, Ubuntu mini‑PCs and DIBAL scale boxes run one app. Portrait keypad on a phone, full grid on a till.

Any scale, any printer

Multi‑brand drivers over RS‑232 and USB. A new model is a small driver, delivered to every device — no per‑shop build.

Odoo‑driven catalog

Products, prices and label templates live in Odoo. A bulk upload auto‑publishes and reaches the whole fleet on its next heartbeat.

Offline‑first

Weighs, prints and holds sales with no network, then syncs when the link returns. A shop never stops at the counter.

Architecture

Catalog flow

Upload a price list — the counters follow.

No walking the floor with a USB stick. The path from a spreadsheet in the office to a printed label is automatic and, on a chain, identical at every store.

Upload in Odoo

Import or edit weighed products, prices and barcodes in the back office. A bulk import is one action, not one per item.

STEP 02

Auto‑publish a revision

A change is batched into a single catalog revision and published to every eligible device — no manual "sync" button per counter.

STEP 03

Devices pull & confirm

Each terminal notices it's behind on its next heartbeat, downloads the delta and reports back. The fleet monitor shows who's current.
